Whatever we think about the end times, our mission as Christians remains the same: “Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel” (Mark 16:15). According to Matthew, the proclamation of the gospel is not just our mission; it is also a sign of the end. “This gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come” (Matthew 24:14).
