I'm Glad I'm Not a Celebrity

We landed at Manila's Ninoy Aquino Internationl Airport eight days ago and have been going non-stop since then. As soon as we landed we had to fight our way out of the plane because, Piolo and Sam, two of the hottest celebrities/stars in the Philippines were on our flight, and they always attract quite a crowd.
After the 20 hour trip, these guys were attacked by what seemed like a whole barangay with cameras. Some hugged them, others pressed their faces next to them as friends took photos. A few showed a bit of civility by politely asking permission before hugging and face-pressing the hapless stars.
Since I am usually less than kind after a long plane ride, I was impressed with how gracious Piolo and Sam were to the mob of adoring strangers. Maybe they were being specially nice to these people because one of their pastors was watching. No, I suspect they are always gracious and accommodating.
Anyway, I am glad I am not a celebrity, not that anyone is making me that offer, and I am proud of the way Piolo, Sam and other celebrities and non-celebrities represent Him day in and day out by being gracious and loving to strangers.
