"End of the Spear"

Deborah and I just returned from watching "End of the Spear," a movie about Nate Saint and the Waodoni tribe that killed him and four other missionaries in the jungles of Ecuador in the 1950's. I left the theater with three prayers pounding in my heart.

First was a silent prayer of thanks for the many great missionaries who take the gospel to difficult and dangerous places. Second was a prayer that God would use this film to call thousands to the unreached all over the world. My third prayer was that God would raise up film-makers to tell stories like this that have a message that matters. I don't know if this movie is showing in the Philippines, but if it is, don't miss it.
